Hall Tickets Available Ahead of May 24 Examination

The Union Public Service Commission has released the admit cards for the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026. Candidates appearing for the examination scheduled on May 24, 2026, can now download their e-admit cards from the official UPSC website.

The Civil Services Examination is one of India’s most competitive recruitment exams and is conducted annually for appointments to prestigious services including IAS, IPS, IFS, and other central government positions.

Candidates Advised to Verify Details Carefully

UPSC has instructed applicants to carefully check all details mentioned on the admit card, including name, roll number, examination centre, reporting time, and photograph. Candidates have also been advised to immediately contact the commission in case of discrepancies.

The admit card is a mandatory document for entry into the examination hall. Along with the hall ticket, candidates must carry a valid photo identification proof.

Exam to Be Conducted Across Multiple Centres

The Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026 will be conducted in two shifts across examination centres nationwide. The examination will include General Studies Paper-I and the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT).

Authorities are expected to implement strict security and verification measures at centres to ensure smooth conduct of the examination.

Following the release of the admit cards, the UPSC website witnessed increased online traffic as lakhs of aspirants attempted to access their hall tickets. Students have been advised to download and print their admit cards well before the examination date to avoid last-minute technical issues.

Preparation Enters Final Stage for Aspirants

With less than two weeks remaining for the preliminary examination, aspirants across the country have intensified their revision and mock test practice. Coaching institutes and online learning platforms have also begun conducting final revision sessions and strategy workshops for candidates.
