Science Stream Maintains Academic Edge

Among the academic streams, Science continued to emerge as the strongest-performing stream, reinforcing its consistent record of higher success rates in the supplementary examinations. While overall results varied across categories, Science students recorded comparatively better outcomes, highlighting strong preparation and subject performance.

First-Year Performance Shows Improvement

The first-year supplementary examinations recorded an overall pass percentage of 68.84%, indicating that a significant number of students successfully cleared their pending subjects. The examinations were conducted from May 13 to May 21, 2026, followed by practical examinations between May 22 and May 25.

Girls Outperform Boys

The results also reflected a continuing trend of girls achieving higher pass percentages than boys in both first-year and second-year supplementary examinations. The gender-wise performance pattern mirrors the outcomes observed in recent years across Telangana Intermediate examinations.

Mixed Performance Across Streams

Despite the encouraging performance in Science, the second-year General stream recorded a pass percentage of 47.70%, lower than the previous year’s figure. The contrast highlights differing levels of performance among streams and underscores the need for targeted academic support for students appearing in supplementary examinations.

Students who are dissatisfied with their marks can apply for recounting or reverification of answer scripts as per the board’s schedule.
