GATE 2024 Results: Paper-Wise Cut-Offs Announced by IISc Bangalore

The Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISc Bangalore) has released the much-awaited GATE 2024 cut-off marks for various engineering and science programs. These cut-offs determine the minimum score a candidate needs to qualify for further admissions processes.

The announcement comes after the GATE 2024 results were declared on March 16, 2024. Candidates can now check their specific cut-off scores based on the paper they appeared for and their category (General, EWS, OBC, SC/ST, PwD).

Key Points:

  • The cut-off marks vary depending on the paper’s difficulty, the number of candidates who appeared, and the number of seats available in the desired programs.
  • Scores for Humanities and Social Sciences (Psychology) saw the highest cut-off, with 52.7 for the general category.
  • Conversely, papers like Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mathematics, and Mining Engineering had the lowest cut-offs, at just 25 marks.
