Bhubaneswar, January 28, 2025 – Xavier Law School, XIM University, is set to host the Xavier Moot Court Competition from March 6th to 8th, 2025, in collaboration with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India’s Institute of Insolvency Professionals (ICSI IIP). This prestigious event will bring together 32 teams from across India to compete in a series of rigorous legal challenges.
The Xavier Moot Court Competition aims to foster legal excellence and provide participants with an opportunity to interact with leading industry professionals and academicians. By engaging with contemporary issues in insolvency law, participants will sharpen their legal acumen and prepare for future roles as advocates, corporate advisors, and policymakers1.
The competition will be held physically on campus at Xavier Law School, XIM University, and is open to all students enrolled in a full-time 3-year LL.B. program or a 5-year integrated LL.B. program from institutions recognized by the Bar Council of India. Participants will compete for cash prizes worth up to INR 1 lakh, along with additional awards for best memorial, best researcher, and best mooter2.
