Pune, January 23, 2025 – The Vivekanand Education Society College of Architecture (VESCOA) successfully hosted the Multidisciplinary International Conference on Introspection of Sustainable Development Goals (ICISDG) 2025. The event brought together experts and changemakers to discuss practical solutions for sustainable development.
Held at Suzlon Earth, Pune, the two-day conference featured workshops, panel discussions, and technical sessions. Participants included students, architects, engineers, planners, designers, economists, and researchers from 11 countries. A highlight was the signing of an international Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Republic of Madagascar, emphasizing a shared commitment to the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The conference was supported by esteemed organizations such as the Council of Architecture, Ministry of Education, Government of India, Rotary Isarag South Asia, Aga Khan Foundation, Mumbai, and SD Patil College of Architects, Pune. Mentored by Architect Prashant Deshmukh and guided by experts like Khushwinder Singh and Dr. Peter Lindegren, the event showcased innovative ideas and student projects.
