UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024 Results Announced: Key Details and Steps to Check

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially announced the results of the UPPSC PCS 2024 preliminary exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the official website.

Exam Overview

The preliminary exam was conducted on December 22, 2024, in two shifts across 75 districts in Uttar Pradesh. The first shift took place from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and the second shift from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Out of the 5,76,154 registered candidates, 2,43,111 appeared in the first session, while 2,41,359 took the test in the second session.

Recruitment Process

The UPPSC PCS recruitment process consists of three stages: the preliminary exam, the mains exam, and the interview phase. The preliminary exam results have qualified 15,066 candidates for the mains examination. The Commission will announce the schedule for the mains exam soon.

  1. Go to the official website at uppsc.up.nic.in.
  2. Click on the ‘UPPSC PCS Prelims Result 2024’ link in the ‘What’s New’ section.
  3. A new page will open, displaying the result PDF.
  4. Download and save the PDF for future reference.

Vacancies and Next Steps

The UPPSC PCS recruitment aims to fill 947 vacancies in various government departments across Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who qualify in the mains exam will proceed to the interview stage, which is the final step in the recruitment process.
