The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed that the UGC NET December 2025 results are expected to be released by February 4, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download their scorecards from the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in once declared.
The UGC NET December 2025 exam was conducted from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026, in computer-based test mode across multiple shifts and subjects. Approximately 7.35 lakh candidates participated, with attendance rates between 71% and 75%.
NTA released the provisional answer keys on January 14, 2026, with an objection window open until January 17. The final answer key and results are in the final stages of preparation following objection reviews.
Candidates should visit ugcnet.nta.nic.in and click on the UGC NET December 2025 result link. Enter application number, date of birth, and security pin to access the scorecard, which includes marks for Paper 1 and 2, percentile, and qualifying status for JRF or Assistant Professor.
Cut-off marks will be released alongside results in subject-wise and category-wise PDFs. Toppers lists and certificates for qualifiers will follow, determining eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor positions. As of February 3, 2026, the official NTA portal shows the answer key challenge as live, with no result link active yet.
