The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the admit cards for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) Examination 2026. Candidates who registered for the examination can now download their hall tickets from the respective regional SSC websites.
The admit card is a mandatory document for appearing in the examination and contains key details such as exam date, shift timing, examination centre, and candidate information.
SSC has activated the admit card download links across its regional portals to ensure smooth access for candidates. Applicants must log in using their registration number and date of birth to retrieve their hall ticket.
Candidates are advised to carefully verify all details printed on the admit card, including name, photograph, roll number, exam venue, and reporting time.
The SSC MTS 2026 examination will be conducted in multiple shifts across various centres nationwide. Candidates are required to report to their examination centres well before the mentioned time to complete verification and security procedures.
Entry into the examination hall will not be permitted without a valid admit card and a government-issued photo identity proof.
The commission has issued specific guidelines that candidates must follow on the examination day. These include restrictions on electronic devices, calculators, and written materials inside the examination hall. Only permitted items such as pens and admit cards will be allowed.
Candidates are also advised to follow dress code instructions and adhere strictly to examination rules to avoid disqualification.
The SSC MTS recruitment process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by document verification for shortlisted candidates. The examination aims to fill vacancies in various central government departments and offices.
Performance in the written examination will determine eligibility for the next stage of the recruitment process.6
SSC has urged candidates to download and print their admit cards in advance to avoid last-minute technical issues. In case of discrepancies in the admit card details, candidates should immediately contact their respective SSC regional offices for correction.
The commission has reiterated that no candidate will be allowed to appear for the examination without a valid admit card.
