In anticipation of the historic Ram Mandir ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony in Ayodhya, several states will announce school closures to allow students to witness the event. The ceremony is set to take place on January 22, 2024, and the following states will declare holidays:
Additionally, Visva-Bharati University in Bolpur-Santiniketan, West Bengal, will observe a half-day holiday.
The closures will allow students to participate in the celebrations and witness the consecration of the Ram Mandir, a significant event in India’s cultural and spiritual history.
