The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the registration window for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 examination will close today, December 30, 2024. Candidates aspiring to secure Junior Research Fellowships (JRF), Assistant Professor positions, and PhD admissions across various disciplines are advised to apply immediately to avoid missing the deadline1.
The CSIR UGC NET exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and will cover five subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. Each paper will be three hours long and consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions2.
Candidates are reminded to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and carefully review the information bulletin available on the NTA website. The exam fee should be paid online using debit/credit cards, internet banking, or UPI1.
