Chandigarh, July 5, 2025 – The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has officially rolled out the updated subject-wise syllabus for Classes 1 to 12 for the 2025-26 academic session, now available for download on its official website, pseb.ac.in. Alongside the syllabus, the board has introduced supplementary English practical materials aimed at enhancing students’ listening and communication skills, particularly for senior classes preparing for board examinations.
The new curriculum, released on July 3, 2025, includes detailed subject-wise content, updated marking schemes, and practical guidelines tailored to each class. To ensure accessibility, PSEB has organized the syllabi into grouped documents for Classes 1 to 4 and Classes 6 and 7, while individual syllabi are provided for Classes 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. The supplementary English practical materials are a key highlight of this release, designed to bolster comprehension and practical language skills. These resources include instructional audio files and guided worksheets covering diverse topics such as the value of money, Saint Ravidas, glimpses of Punjab, driving safety, Marco Polo, the secret of happiness, ancient Indian thoughts and practices, homecoming, the creation of the earth, and traffic laws. These materials aim to provide senior students with engaging tools to strengthen their listening and speaking abilities, critical for board exam preparation.

Furthermore, the board announced that practical examinations for Classes 10 and 12 are scheduled between January 27 and February 4, 2025, with exams conducted in two shifts: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
