The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has announced that the registration window for the PM Internship Scheme 2025 will close today, March 31, 2025. This flagship initiative aims to provide young Indians with valuable work experience and bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application.
The program offers a 12-month internship, including six months of hands-on training, across various sectors and industries. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000 and a one-time grant of ₹6,000 to support their participation. The scheme is open to unemployed Indian residents aged 21-24 years, with a minimum educational qualification of Class 10. Applicants must also meet the family income criteria, which is capped at ₹8 lakh per year.
Internship opportunities are available in 730 districts nationwide, with leading companies such as Maruti Suzuki, L&T, and HDFC Bank participating in the program. Candidates can apply for up to three internships based on their preferences and qualifications.
To register, applicants must visit the official website, pminternship.mca.gov.in, and complete the online application process. The steps include filling out personal and educational details, uploading necessary documents, and selecting preferred internship roles.
The PM Internship Scheme has already seen significant success, with over 82,000 placements during its first phase. The ongoing second phase has expanded to include 327 companies offering diverse opportunities across the country.
