NEST 2025 Registration Begins: Apply Now for MSc Programmes at NISER and UM-CEBS

The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2025 registration has officially commenced on February 17, 2025. Candidates aspiring to join the integrated MSc programmes in biology, physics, chemistry, and mathematics at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) and the University of Mumbai – Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-CEBS) can now apply online.

The registration window will remain open until May 9, 2025. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 22, 2025, in a Computer Based Test (CBT) format. To be eligible, candidates must have passed their Class 12th or equivalent examination in 2023, 2024, or be appearing for it in 2025. They must score at least 60% in aggregate (55% for SC, ST, and Divyangjan candidates).

The application process involves registering on the official website, nestexam.in, filling out the application form, uploading necessary documents, and paying the application fee. The application fee is ₹700 for female candidates and SC/ST/Divyangjan category candidates, and ₹1,400 for male candidates and other UR/OBC category applicants.
