New Delhi, November 09, 2025 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the final results and answer keys for NEET UG 2025 on its dedicated portal, neet.nta.nic.in. This marks the culmination of one of the most competitive medical entrance exams in the country, with more than 24 lakh candidates vying for limited seats in undergraduate medical and dental programs.
This year saw an unprecedented turnout, with 24,06,079 candidates registering for the exam held on May 4, 2025, across 4,750 centres in 571 cities (including 14 international locations). The sheer scale underscores the intense competition for MBBS, BDS, and allied courses like AYUSH, BVSc, and AH.
The final answer keys, released alongside the results, incorporate resolutions to any objections raised during the provisional key phase. Candidates can now download their scorecards, OMR sheets, and the official answer key directly from the website using their application number and date of birth.
The highest scorers are now poised to secure seats in India’s premier medical institutes, as per the latest NIRF Rankings 2025:
Other top-ranked institutions like Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore, JIPMER Puducherry, and NIMHANS Bengaluru will also feature prominently in the merit list.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon kick off the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling for 15% of seats in government colleges, along with 100% seats in deemed/central universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, and ESIC institutions. State quotas (85% in government colleges) will be managed by respective state authorities.
