National Seminar on AI and Fake News: Exploring the Future of Fact-Checking

On January 22, 2025, Sharda University’s School of Media, Film, and Entertainment, in collaboration with Jagran New Media, will host a significant national seminar titled “AI in Combating Misinformation: Advancing Fact-Checking Practices”. The event aims to address the critical role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in tackling fake news and misinformation in today’s digital age1.

Seminar Highlights

The seminar will take place at the Anand Swaroop Auditorium, Sharda University, and will be conducted in a hybrid mode, allowing participants to attend both in-person and virtually. The event kicks off at 10:00 AM IST and will feature distinguished speakers and experts from academia, industry, and media2.
