The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA) for admission to B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) and B.Planning programs in India.

Purpose
NATA assesses candidates’ aptitude for architecture through various tests that evaluate their drawing skills, imagination, and aesthetic sensitivity.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject or a 10+3 diploma exam with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- Age Requirement: Candidates must have been born on or after October 01, 1999.
Exam Pattern
- Duration: The exam lasts for 3 hours.
- Mode: It is conducted in both online and offline (pen and paper-based) modes.
- Sections: The exam includes sections on Freehand Drawing, Geometrical Drawing, Three-Dimensional Perception, Imagination and Aesthetic Sensitivity, and Architectural Awareness.
