MCC Releases NEET UG 2025 Round 2 Seat Allotment Results: Reporting Starts Today

New Delhi, September 18, 2025 – The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially released the Round 2 seat allotment results for NEET UG Counselling 2025, paving the way for aspiring medical students to secure their spots in MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical programs across India.

Seat Allotment Results Announced

The results, made available on September 17, 2025, via the official website mcc.nic.in, mark a crucial step in the centralized counselling process for 15% All India Quota seats, deemed universities, central universities, and more. This year’s counselling process has seen significant participation, with over 13,501 open seats available in MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing programs for Round 2, alongside 1,134 newly added seats and 7,088 virtual vacant seats.

Candidates allotted seats are now required to report to their respective colleges and complete admission formalities starting today, September 18, and continuing until September 25, 2025. Institutions will then verify the data of joined candidates between September 26 and 27, 2025.   2. Navigate to the “UG Medical Counselling 2025” section on the homepage.
  3. Click on the link for “Round 2 Seat Allotment Result.”
  4. Enter your NEET UG roll number, password, and the security pin displayed.
  5. Submit the details to view and download your allotment letter.

Important Guidelines for Candidates

The MCC emphasizes that candidates must only approach their allotted college after downloading the official allotment letter and should carry all necessary documents, including NEET scorecard, admit card, Class 10 and 12 certificates, identity proof, and category certificates if applicable. Failure to report within the stipulated period may result in forfeiture of the seat.

Upcoming Counselling Rounds

With Round 2 now underway, the counselling process will proceed to Round 3 starting September 29, 2025, providing further opportunities for candidates who did not secure seats in previous rounds or wish to upgrade.
