New Delhi, September 18, 2025 – The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially released the Round 2 seat allotment results for NEET UG Counselling 2025, paving the way for aspiring medical students to secure their spots in MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical programs across India.
The results, made available on September 17, 2025, via the official website mcc.nic.in, mark a crucial step in the centralized counselling process for 15% All India Quota seats, deemed universities, central universities, and more. This year’s counselling process has seen significant participation, with over 13,501 open seats available in MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing programs for Round 2, alongside 1,134 newly added seats and 7,088 virtual vacant seats.
The provisional allotment results were first published, allowing candidates to raise any discrepancies via email to mccresultquery@gmail.com until 10:00 AM today, September 18, 2025. Following this window, the provisional list will be treated as final, ensuring a streamlined process for all participants.
Candidates allotted seats are now required to report to their respective colleges and complete admission formalities starting today, September 18, and continuing until September 25, 2025. Institutions will then verify the data of joined candidates between September 26 and 27, 2025. This revised schedule ensures a smooth transition into the academic session amid any ongoing adjustments in the counselling timeline.

The MCC emphasizes that candidates must only approach their allotted college after downloading the official allotment letter and should carry all necessary documents, including NEET scorecard, admit card, Class 10 and 12 certificates, identity proof, and category certificates if applicable. With Round 2 now underway, the counselling process will proceed to Round 3 starting September 29, 2025, providing further opportunities for candidates who did not secure seats in previous rounds or wish to upgrade. The NEET UG 2025 counselling is conducted for admissions to prestigious institutions such as AIIMS, JIPMER, and various central and deemed universities under the 15% All India Quota, ESIC, and Armed Forces Medical College quotas.
