Extended Registration Deadline
The MCC has extended the registration deadline for Round 3 of the NEET PG 2024 counselling till January 15, 2025. The registration process was previously halted but has now resumed, allowing eligible candidates more time to register2.
Revised Cut-off Percentile
In a significant decision, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) in consultation with the National Medical Commission (NMC) has lowered the percentile for NEET PG counselling 2024. The updated eligibility criteria are as follows1:
- General Category/EWS: 15 percentile and above
- SC/ST/OBC/PwD Categories: 10 percentile and above
Choice Filling and Locking Schedule
Candidates can fill in their choices from January 12, 2025, to January 16, 2025, until 8 AM. The choice-locking facility will be available from 8 PM on January 15 up to 8 AM on January 162.
Result Announcement
The seat allotment results for Round 3 will be published on January 18, 2025. Candidates are required to report to their allotted institutes between January 18 and January 25, 20252.
