Jain Entrance Test (JET) 2025

Purpose

The Jain Entrance Test (JET) is an entrance exam conducted by Jain University (Deemed to be University) for admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including B.Tech, B.A, B.Sc, BCA, MBA, and more.

Conducting Authority

The exam is conducted by Jain University (Deemed to be University).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed or be appearing for the 12th standard (or equivalent) examination with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Electronics/Computer Science/Biology as subjects.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must have scored at least 45% in their qualifying examination (40% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Residency: Candidates must be Indian nationals or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI).
  • Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for JET.
  • Number of Attempts: Candidates can attempt the exam multiple times.

Exam Schedule

  • Registration: Begins on October 15, 2024, and ends on April 8, 2025.
  • Admit Card: Available from April 9, 2025.
  • Exam Dates: The exam will be held on April 10 and 11, 2025.
  • Result: Announced on April 12, 2025.
  • Online Counselling and Seat Allocation: Begins on April 12, 2025.

Application Process

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the Jain University website (jainuniversity.ac.in).
  2. Register: Complete the registration process by entering the required details.
  3. Fill the Application Form: Fill out the JET application form and upload scanned documents.
  4. Pay the Application Fee: Pay the fee using credit/debit cards or net banking.
  5. Submit the Form: Submit the application form and print a hard copy for future reference.

Application Fee

  • General Category Candidates: ₹1,500
  • SC/ST/PwD Candidates: ₹750
  • Female Candidates: ₹1,000

Exam Pattern

  • Mode: Online Proctored Test (Remotely Proctored)
  • Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours)
  • Total Questions: 100 multiple-choice questions
  • Total Marks: 100 marks
  • Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Medium: English
