JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Results Declared by National Testing Agency

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the results of JEE Main 2026 Session 1, conducted in January across multiple exam centres in India and abroad. Candidates who appeared for the engineering entrance examination can now access their scorecards through the official result portal using their application number and login credentials.

The results have been prepared based on the final answer key released after reviewing objections raised by candidates against the provisional answer key.

Final Answer Key Released with Dropped Questions

Before declaring the results, the NTA published the final answer key for all shifts of JEE Main Session 1. After examining student challenges, the agency dropped several questions that were found to be ambiguous or incorrect.

As per NTA’s evaluation policy, full marks have been awarded to all candidates who attempted the dropped questions, irrespective of the option chosen. This adjustment has been reflected in the final score computation to ensure fairness and transparency in the assessment process.

How to Download the JEE Main 2026 Scorecard

Candidates can download their scorecards by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official JEE Main result portal.
  2. Click on the “JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result” link.

Toppers and Performance Highlights

Along with the results, the NTA released performance data of top scorers. Several candidates secured a perfect 100 percentile in Session 1, reflecting strong competition among aspirants nationwide. Students from multiple states emerged as top performers in this session.

Next Steps for Candidates

Candidates who have qualified based on their Session 1 performance can now begin preparations for:

  • JEE Advanced 2026, and
