A total of 4,33,643 students appeared for the exams conducted between February 11 and March 3, 2025, with practical exams held from March 4 to March 20, 2025.   • Pass Percentage: The overall pass percentage stands at 91.71%, up by 1.31% from last year’s 90.39%.
  • Gender Performance: Girls have once again outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 91% compared to 89.70% for boys. Approximately 2.10 lakh girls and 1.84 lakh boys cleared the exams, continuing a trend of strong academic performance by female students.
  • Division-Wise Breakdown: Out of the total candidates, 2.2 lakh students secured the first division, showcasing exceptional academic performance.
  • Top Performing District: Kodarma emerged as the top-performing district, while Santhal topped the district-wise results this year, a significant improvement from its lowest ranking last year.
  • Toppers’ List: The JAC released the toppers’ list, with Gitanjali securing Rank 1 with an outstanding 98.6% marks. Three students bagged Rank 2, and two students secured Rank 3. A total of 62 students made it to the top 10 merit list.

How to Check JAC 10th Result 2025

Students can access their results through multiple platforms to ensure ease of access, especially for those in areas with limited internet connectivity. Below are the steps to check the results:

Online via Official Websites

  1. Visit the official JAC websites: jac.jharkhand.gov.in or jacresults.com.
  2. Click on the link for “JAC Annual Secondary Examination Result – 2025” or “JAC Class 10th Result 2025.”
  3. Enter the required credentials, including roll number and roll code (or application number and date of birth, depending on the platform).
  4. Verify the details and submit to view the result.
  5. Download and save the digital marksheet for future reference.

Via DigiLocker

  1. Register on the DigiLocker portal using the school-provided 6-digit access code, school code, and JAC 10th exam roll number.
  2. Confirm your mobile number by entering the OTP received.
  3. Log in to DigiLocker with your registered mobile number or email ID and password.
  4. Download the JAC Class 10th marksheet.

Via SMS

For students in areas with limited internet access, results can be checked via SMS:

  1. Compose a message in the format: JAC10 <space> Roll Number.
  2. Send it to the designated number (to be provided by JAC).
  3. Receive a PASS/FAIL status notification or detailed result on your phone.

Toppers’ List and Merit Achievements

The JAC released the much-anticipated toppers’ list for 2025, highlighting the exceptional performance of students. Gitanjali secured the top rank with an impressive 98.6% marks, followed by three students at Rank 2 and two at Rank 3. The toppers’ list includes names, marks, percentages, school names, and district details, providing recognition to high-achieving students across Jharkhand. The merit list, featuring 62 students in the top 10, underscores the competitive spirit and academic excellence of the state’s youth.

Exam Details and Statistics

The JAC Class 10 exams were conducted from February 11 to March 3, 2025, in the morning session (9:45 AM to 1:00 PM), with practical exams held from March 4 to March 20, 2025. A total of 4,33,944 students registered for the exams, of which 4,33,643 appeared. The results reflect the hard work of students and the effective evaluation process by the JAC. To pass the JAC 10th exam, students needed to secure a minimum aggregate score of 33%. Those who received grace marks were also supported to meet this criterion.

Re-evaluation and Rechecking Process

This year’s improved pass percentage and the strong performance by girls highlight the consistent progress in Jharkhand’s education system.
