New Delhi, July 8, 2025 – The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has officially released the results for the CMA Foundation June 2025 examination, marking a significant milestone for thousands of aspiring Cost and Management Accountants across the country. Candidates who appeared for the exam, held on June 14, 2025, can now access their scorecards on the official ICMAI website, icmai.in.
Riya Poddar from Howrah has secured the All-India Rank 1, leading the merit list with an outstanding performance. Following closely, Akshat Agarwal from Surat clinched the second rank, while Mohit Das from Visakhapatnam and Bhavya Agarwal from Beawar jointly secured the third rank. The merit list also highlighted strong performances from candidates in Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, showcasing the widespread talent in this competitive exam.

The CMA Foundation June 2025 exam was conducted in offline OMR mode on June 14, 2025, in two shifts. Papers 1 and 2 were held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while Papers 3 and 4 took place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Each paper consisted of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), carrying 100 marks. To qualify, candidates needed to score at least 40% in each paper and an aggregate of 50% overall. This entry-level exam is designed for students who have completed Class 12 or equivalent.
Successful candidates can now apply for the CMA Intermediate course, the next step in their journey to becoming certified Cost and Management Accountants. Additionally, ICMAI has announced that candidates can request copies of their answer sheets within 21 days of the result declaration and apply for answer book verification within 30 days.
ICMAI has also confirmed that the results for the CMA Intermediate and Final June 2025 exams, conducted from June 11 to 18, 2025, are expected to be declared on August 11, 2025. However, candidates should be cautious of misinformation, as ICMAI recently warned against fake news regarding result dates, particularly for the Intermediate and Final exams. Official updates should only be trusted from icmai.in.
Rahul Mudaliyar, who scored 74.5% (298/400), credited his success to self-study and guidance from his sister, a CMA herself. “This year’s paper was tougher compared to the last three years, but my sister’s support made a huge difference,” he said. Another topper, Khainar, who scored above 300 marks, expressed gratitude for family support and shared his aspiration to work as a CMA in the future.
