New Delhi, July 7, 2025 – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced the results for the Chartered Accountancy (CA) Foundation, Intermediate, and Final examinations for the May 2025 session on July 6, ahead of the scheduled release times. The results, originally set for 2 PM for CA Final and Intermediate and 5 PM for CA Foundation, were made available earlier, bringing relief and excitement to thousands of candidates across the country.
Candidates can access their scorecards on the official ICAI websites, including icai.org, icai.nic.in, and icaiexam.icai.org, by entering their registration number, roll number, and captcha code. A total of 14,247 candidates have successfully qualified as Chartered Accountants this session, showcasing the competitive nature of the exams.
Rajan Kabra from Maharashtra secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the CA Final exam, followed by Nishitha Bothra at AIR 2 and Manav Rakesh Shah at AIR 3. In the CA Intermediate exams, Disha emerged as the top scorer. The ICAI also released a merit list featuring the top 50 rank holders across all levels.
The pass percentages reflect the rigorous standards of the CA program:

ICAI will issue pass certificates to candidates who cleared both groups of the CA Intermediate or Final exams within 60 days. Those who do not receive their certificates within eight weeks can contact exam.dmsinter@icai.in for Intermediate or dms_examhelpline@icai.in for Final. Mark statements will be sent by post within 30 days, with similar escalation options.
Candidates dissatisfied with their marks can apply for verification or revaluation of answer sheets within 30 days of the result declaration. The revaluation portal is expected to open soon. Additionally, candidates can request certified copies of their answer booklets through their dashboard on the ICAI Self Service Portal (SSP) within the same timeframe.
The CA May 2025 exams, conducted between May 2 and May 21, followed the revised ICAI scheme introduced last year. For those who did not clear the exams, the next opportunity lies in the September 2025 session, with registrations opening on July 5 at eservices.icai.org.
ICAI also announced that the campus placement drive registration will open from July 10 to July 20, allowing successful candidates, including those who passed in November 2024 but missed prior placements, to participate.
The CA program’s competitive pass rates and high standards continue to uphold its reputation as one of India’s toughest professional courses. Congratulations to all successful candidates, and best wishes to those preparing for the next cycle!
