Gyan Mahakumbh 2024: Celebrating India’s Educational Heritage and Knowledge Traditions

The Gyan Mahakumbh 2024 is a significant event organized by the RSS-affiliated organization Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas. Scheduled to take place from January 10 to February 10, 2024, in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, this month-long event aims to spotlight Indian education, knowledge traditions, and moral values.

Here are some key highlights of the event:

• Educational Conferences and Seminars: The event will feature a series of conferences, seminars, and workshops focusing on various aspects of Indian education. Topics include Vedic mathematics, Indian languages, self-reliant education systems, and the role of private educational institutions.
• National Seminar: On February 1, there will be a national seminar titled “Desh Ka Naam Bharat”, discussing the historical, cultural, and educational significance of India’s identity and name.
• Special Classes: Special classes on Vedic Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be held on January 31.
• Exhibitions and Book Stalls: The event will also feature exhibitions and book stalls showcasing India’s rich knowledge traditions.
• Women’s Conference: On February 8, a women’s conference will be organized to discuss the role of women in education.
• Governance and Administration in Education: On February 9, a national conference will focus on the role of governance and administration in education.

The event aims to bring together over 1,000 distinguished educationists, university vice-chancellors, policymakers, and scholars from across India to brainstorm on Indian knowledge traditions and moral values.
