Gandhinagar, July 18, 2025 – The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has officially declared the Class 10 (SSC) Supplementary Exam Result for 2025 today at 9:00 AM. Students who appeared for the exams, conducted between June 23 and July 1, 2025, can now access their results on the official website, gseb.org, or through WhatsApp and SMS services. This announcement brings relief to over a lakh students who took the supplementary exams to clear subjects they couldn’t pass in the main SSC examination held in March 2025.
According to GSEB, a total of 1,24,058 candidates registered for the supplementary exams, with 93,904 students appearing. Out of these, 25,929 students successfully qualified, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 27.61%. Notably, girls outperformed boys, achieving a pass rate 6.27% higher than their male counterparts. The supplementary exams, also known as “Purak Pariksha,” were held across district headquarters in Gujarat, providing students a second chance to advance to Class 11.
The main SSC exams in March 2025 recorded an overall pass percentage of 83.08%, a slight improvement from last year’s 82.56%. The supplementary exams were designed to ensure students’ academic year is not disrupted, allowing them to improve their scores and secure admission to their preferred streams in Class 11.
Students can access their results through three convenient methods:
SSC <space> Seat Number (e.g., SSC 123456).Students are advised to verify all details on the provisional marksheet, including their name, seat number, subject-wise marks, grades, and overall result (pass/fail). In case of discrepancies, they should contact their school authorities immediately. The original marksheet must be collected from respective schools once available.
To pass the GSEB SSC Supplementary Exam 2025, students must score at least 33% in each subject. For differently-abled students, the passing threshold is 20% per subject. Those who clear all subjects are eligible to proceed with Class 11 admissions in general or vocational streams.
Students who have successfully cleared the supplementary exams can now focus on Class 11 admissions. Those who did not pass are encouraged to consult their school teachers or counselors for guidance on future options, such as reappearing in the next exam cycle or enrolling in open schooling programs.
The GSEB has emphasized the importance of checking the official website for updates and collecting the original marksheet from schools. The board congratulated all successful candidates and extended best wishes for their future academic endeavors.
