Bhopal, January 7, 2025 – PNB Housing’s CSR arm, Pehel Foundation, partnered with Muskaan Dreams to launch the Digital Shaala Project. This initiative aims to advance STEM education and bring tech-based innovations to classrooms.

Aligned with the New Education Policy (NEP 2020), the project will enhance learning for students in grades 5-8 and equip teachers with digital skills for future-ready classrooms.

Impact and Reach Digital Shaala will benefit over 6,500+ students and 200+ teachers across 20 government schools in Bhopal and Indore. Moreover, the project equips classrooms with e-learning platforms, high-speed internet, and preloaded offline academic content.

Blended Learning Approach This initiative promotes blended learning. Consequently, students gain stronger conceptual understanding while teachers embrace engaging digital pedagogies.

Leadership Perspectives Mr. Girish Kousgi, MD & CEO, PNB Housing Finance, stated, “Education is the cornerstone of progress. Technology is the bridge to a brighter future. Through Digital Shaala, we are transforming classrooms and shaping the future of thousands of students by empowering them with digital learning opportunities. This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering innovation and inclusivity in education, accelerated by developments in the digital era.”

Additionally, Mr. Abhishek Dubey, Founder & CEO, Muskaan Dreams, added, “Digital Shaala aims to empower teachers with the technology and tools needed to seamlessly integrate digital solutions into their teaching practices. In partnership with PNB Housing, this program equips educators with innovative methodologies, thus enhancing tech adoption and improving learning outcomes and experiences for students.”

Furthermore, Mrs. Sushma Vaishya, District Education Officer (DEO), emphasized the importance of digital education in schools and its positive impact on teaching and learning.

Comprehensive Model for Sustainable Change Digital Shaala focuses on four key aspects: providing access to digital classrooms, training teachers in digital pedagogies, offering continuous implementation support, and advocating for digital inclusion at district and state levels. Consequently, this initiative bridges the gap between traditional and modern education, fostering an environment where teachers embrace technology to inspire and prepare students for a tech-driven world.
