Dehradun Schools Closed for a Day Ahead of PM Modi’s Visit

Dehradun, January 28, 2025 – The District Magistrate of Dehradun has declared a one-day holiday for all schools and Anganwadi centers in the district on January 28, 2025. The official notice, issued under the Disaster Management Act, 2005, stated that the holiday is necessary to ensure smooth arrangements during the Prime Minister’s visit. Schools and Anganwadi centers are required to remain closed for the day to facilitate the event1.
