School farewell turns violent in Haridwar
A farewell party in Haridwar took a chaotic turn when a group of around 70 students from a prominent private school went on a dangerous rampage. The students, still in their school uniforms, performed car stunts, burst firecrackers, and even fired gunshots into the air. The incident, which occurred in the BHEL residential area in Ranipur, was captured on video and quickly went viral on social media.
The students gathered near the BHEL stadium before forming a convoy of vehicles. They leaned out of car windows, stood on moving cars, and engaged in reckless behavior, causing significant disruption. The police have filed an FIR against the unidentified students and launched an investigation to identify those involved. Authorities have also promised to take action against the hotel owner where the farewell party was held, as the event was reportedly not properly monitored.
The school’s administration condemned the actions of the students and clarified that they had no role in organizing the farewell party. Local authorities have assured that all those responsible will be identified and appropriate legal action will be taken against them.
