The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the tentative date sheets for the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations 2026. This much-awaited announcement brings clarity and a roadmap for approximately 44–45 lakh (4.5 million) students who will appear for these crucial exams across India and 28 overseas centres in 26 countries.

Schools have been strictly instructed to complete corrections within the stipulated deadline (usually 10–15 days from the announcement). Any error left uncorrected at this stage may cause major problems during admit card generation and result processing.
The extended July 15 cut-off for supplementary exams is a student-friendly move, ensuring that compartment candidates can join undergraduate courses in the same academic year without major delays.
