The wait is finally over for lakhs of MBA aspirants! The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode has officially declared the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 results on December 24, 2025. Conducted on November 30, 2025, across three slots in 339 test centers spanning 170 cities, the exam saw robust participation with approximately 2.58 lakh candidates appearing out of 2.95 lakh registrations.
This year’s results stand out for their emphasis on academic diversity. 12 candidates achieved a perfect 100 percentile, and remarkably, 9 of them come from non-engineering backgrounds. This marks a significant shift from previous years, where engineers often dominated the top ranks. Only 3 of the 100 percentilers are from engineering streams.
IIM Kozhikode Director Prof. Debashis Chatterjee praised the exam as one of the smoothest in recent years, thanking all stakeholders for its successful conduct.
Candidates can access their scorecards on the official website: iimcat.ac.in.

The scorecard includes section-wise scaled scores, overall scores, and percentiles. Here’s what a typical CAT scorecard looks like:
Validity: CAT 2025 scores are valid until December 31, 2026.
Your CAT scorecard is the key to admissions for the 2026-28 batch at all 22 IIMs and over 93 non-IIM institutions. Shortlisting for Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interviews (PI) will begin soon, based on individual IIM criteria, which factor in CAT scores, academic records, work experience, diversity, and more.
Top IIMs typically require 95+ percentiles for General category calls, with sectional cut-offs playing a crucial role.
If you’ve scored well, congratulations—this is just the beginning of your MBA journey! For those aiming higher, remember that preparation and perseverance pay off, as evidenced by the diverse toppers this year.
Stay tuned for IIM shortlists expected in January 2026. Best of luck! 🚀
