British Council Launches GREAT Scholarships 2025: £10,000 for Indian Postgraduates

The British Council has announced the GREAT Scholarships 2025, offering Indian students the opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies in the UK. Each scholarship is worth a minimum of £10,000 towards tuition fees for a one-year postgraduate course. A total of 26 scholarships will be awarded across diverse subjects.

The scholarships are divided into three primary categories:

• 21 scholarships for core subjects such as Business, Finance, Marketing, Psychology, Design, Humanities, and Dance.
• 2 scholarships for postgraduate studies in justice and law.
• 3 scholarships for aspiring leaders in science and technology (STEM disciplines).

Rittika Chanda Parruck MBE, Director of Education India at the British Council, highlighted that these scholarships provide invaluable opportunities for Indian students to access world-class education and immerse themselves in diverse cultural experiences.

The GREAT Scholarships 2025 are jointly funded by the UK government’s GREAT Britain Campaign, the British Council, and participating UK higher education institutions. This initiative underscores the UK’s commitment to furthering academic excellence and creating global opportunities for students.
