Today is the last day for students to register for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has set a deadline of 5 PM on January 13, 2025, for the completion of the application process. For admission into Class 6, students should be between 10 and 12 years old as of March 31, 2025, and must have passed Class 5 from a recognized school. Boys and girls can apply for Class 6 in all Sainik Schools2. For Class 9, students should be between 13 and 15 years old as of March 31, 2025, and must have passed the Class 8 examination. Admission of girls in Class 9 is subject to seat availability.

The AISSEE 2025 will be conducted offline using OMR sheets across 190 cities in India. The examination dates have yet to be announced, but the timing for the Class 6 and Class 9 exams will be from 2 PM to 4:30 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM, respectively.
The exam will feature multiple-choice questions[5]. For Class 6, it will be a 150-minute paper carrying 300 marks, covering subjects such as Language, Mathematics, Intelligence, and General Knowledge. For Class 9, it will be a 180-minute paper carrying 400 marks, covering subjects like Mathematics, Intelligence, English, General Knowledge, and Social Science. Students must secure at least 25 percent in each section and 40 percent overall to qualify.
