    • The AFCAT 01/2025 exam was conducted on February 22 and 23, 2025, in two shifts each day.

    • Subjects included General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and Military Aptitude.
  2. Eligibility Criteria:
    • Candidates must be Indian citizens, aged between 20 and 24 years. For Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) roles, the age limit extends to 26 years.
    • A minimum of 60% marks in a three-year degree program is required.
  3. Vacancies:
    • A total of 336 vacancies are to be filled, including 189 for Ground Duty (Technical) and 117 for Ground Duty (Non-Technical) roles.
  4. Marking Scheme:
    • Each correct answer awards 3 marks, while 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect response.

    • Candidates who clear the written exam will proceed to the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview.

  2. Medical Examination:
    • After the AFSB interview, candidates undergo a comprehensive medical check-up.
  3. Training:
    • Selected candidates will join the Air Force Academy for rigorous training.
    • During the training period, candidates receive a stipend of ₹56,100 per month. Post-training, salaries range from ₹71,872 to ₹85,372 per month, depending on the branch.

  • Candidates applying for the Ground Duty Technical Branch were also required to take the Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT), a 45-minute exam with 50 questions worth 150 marks.
