Additional Candidates Shortlisted for Tier 2 SSC CGL

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently announced the additional results for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination Tier I 2024. Following the orders from the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Principal Bench, New Delhi, a total of 609 additional candidates have been shortlisted to appear for the Tier II examination.

Key Details:

  • Additional Candidates: A total of 609 candidates have been added to the list of those who will appear for the Tier II examination. This includes candidates from various categories such as SC, ST, OBC, UR, and EWS2.
  • Revised Cut-offs: The cut-offs for List-3 posts have been slightly reduced across categories to accommodate the additional candidates.
  • Tier II Exam Date: The Tier II examination is scheduled to be held on January 20, 2025.
  • Admit Cards: The admit cards for the additional candidates will be released on January 18, 2025. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official SSC website2.

Steps to Download the Admit Card:

  1. Visit the official website: Go to the SSC official website at ssc.gov.in.
  2. Click on the Result Link: On the homepage, click on the link for the SSC CGL Tier I additional result.
  3. Check Roll Numbers: A new page will open with the list of shortlisted candidates. Check your roll number and download the admit card1.
  4. Print and Save: Print a copy of the admit card and keep a digital copy for reference.

Important Points to Remember:

  • Exam Pattern: The Tier II exam consists of two papers – Paper I (Quantitative Aptitude) and Paper II (Data Interpretation & Statistical Analysis).
  • Reporting Time: Candidates must arrive at the exam center well before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
  • Mandatory Documents: Bring the admit card, valid ID proof, and passport-size photograph to the exam center.
  • COVID-19 Guidelines: Follow the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the SSC, including wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.
