New Delhi, July 25, 2025 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the admit cards for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET July 2025 examination. Candidates who have registered for the exam can now download their hall tickets from the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in. The examination, scheduled for July 28, 2025, will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor positions, and PhD admissions in science-related fields across Indian universities and colleges.

Exam Schedule and Shifts

The CSIR UGC NET July 2025 exam will take place on a single day, July 28, 2025, in two shifts:

• Shift 1 (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM): Life Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences.
• Shift 2 (3:00 PM to 6:00 PM): Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.

The exam consists of three parts (A, B, and C) with objective-type multiple-choice questions, conducted in a single session without breaks.

How to Download the CSIR UGC NET Admit Card 2025

Candidates can follow these steps to download their admit cards:

1. Visit the official CSIR NET website: csirnet.nta.ac.in.
2. On the homepage, click on the link titled “CSIR UGC NET June 2025: Click Here to Download Admit Card.”
3. Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin in the login window.
4. Click “Submit” to view the admit card on the screen.
5. Download and print at least two copies of the admit card on A4 paper for exam day use.

• Exam Center Rules: The admit card is mandatory for entry to the exam center. Candidates without it will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Exam centers cannot be changed after the admit card is issued.
• Preserve the Admit Card: Keep the admit card in good condition for future reference, such as result checking.
• Avoid Technical Issues: Use the latest browser version and avoid downloading the admit card on mobile devices. Download during off-peak hours (early morning or late night) to avoid server congestion.

About CSIR UGC NET 2025

The CSIR UGC NET is a national-level eligibility test conducted twice a year (June and December) by the NTA on behalf of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). It assesses candidates’ eligibility for JRF, Assistant Professor roles, and PhD admissions in five disciplines: Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.
