Gandhinagar, July 18, 2025 – The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has officially declared the Class 10 (SSC) Supplementary Exam Result for 2025 today at 9:00 AM. Students who appeared for the exams, conducted between June 23 and July 1, 2025, can now access their results on the official website, gseb.org, or through WhatsApp and SMS services. This announcement brings relief to over a lakh students who took the supplementary exams to clear subjects they couldn’t pass in the main SSC examination held in March 2025.

Key Highlights of the GSEB SSC Supplementary Result 2025

According to GSEB, a total of 1,24,058 candidates registered for the supplementary exams, with 93,904 students appearing. Out of these, 25,929 students successfully qualified, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 27.61%. Notably, girls outperformed boys, achieving a pass rate 6.27% higher than their male counterparts. The supplementary exams, also known as “Purak Pariksha,” were held across district headquarters in Gujarat, providing students a second chance to advance to Class 11.

The main SSC exams in March 2025 recorded an overall pass percentage of 83.08%, a slight improvement from last year’s 82.56%. The supplementary exams were designed to ensure students’ academic year is not disrupted, allowing them to improve their scores and secure admission to their preferred streams in Class 11.

Students can access their results through three convenient methods:

  • Visit the official GSEB website: gseb.org.
  • Navigate to the “Result” section on the homepage.
  • Click on the link for “GSEB SSC/Class 10 Supplementary Exam 2025.”
  • Enter your six-digit seat number and other required details.
  • Submit to view your result.
  • Download and save the provisional marksheet for future reference.

2. WhatsApp

  • Open WhatsApp and type your six-digit seat number.
  • Send the message to the official GSEB number: 63573 00971.
  • The board will reply with your result on the same number.

3. SMS

  • Open your messaging app and type: SSC <space> Seat Number (e.g., SSC 123456).
  • Send the message to 56263.
  • Receive your result via SMS.

Students are advised to verify all details on the provisional marksheet, including their name, seat number, subject-wise marks, grades, and overall result (pass/fail). In case of discrepancies, they should contact their school authorities immediately. The original marksheet must be collected from respective schools once available.

Passing Criteria

To pass the GSEB SSC Supplementary Exam 2025, students must score at least 33% in each subject. For differently-abled students, the passing threshold is 20% per subject. Those who clear all subjects are eligible to proceed with Class 11 admissions in general or vocational streams.
