The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results for the CA Intermediate and Foundation exams held in January 2025. The results were released today, March 4, 2025, and candidates can check their scores on the official ICAI websites by entering their registration number and date of birth.

The CA Intermediate results saw impressive performances, with Deepanshi Agarwal from Hyderabad securing the All India Rank (AIR) 1 with 86.83% marks. Thota Somanadh Seshadri Naidu from Vijayawada and Sarthak Agrawal from Hathras followed closely, securing AIR 2 and AIR 3, respectively. In Group 1, 1,08,187 candidates appeared, and 15,332 passed, with a pass rate of 14.17%. For Group 2, 80,368 candidates took the exam, and 17,813 passed, resulting in a 22.16% pass rate2. A total of 48,261 candidates appeared for both groups in the exam, out of which 6,781 passed, making the overall pass percentage 14.05%.

The Foundation course exam was conducted on January 12, 16, 18, and 20, 2025. Papers I and II were held from 2 pm to 5 pm, while Papers III and IV were from 2 pm to 4 pm. This year, a total of 1,20,609 Chartered Accountancy students appeared for the foundation exam.

Successful candidates will now focus on the CA Final exams, while others will prepare for the next attempt. ICAI’s official website provides all necessary details regarding upcoming exam schedules and registration.
