AHMEDABAD, India (AP) — The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has successfully completed the final placement process for its Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) Class of 2025, achieving a remarkable 100% placement rate. The placement process, which began with the Lateral Placement Process from January 6-21, 2025, saw students with prior work experience being offered roles in middle and senior management positions.
The final placement process involved firms from diverse sectors such as technology, banking, finance, consulting, and analytics. Companies were grouped into cohorts based on their core business and industry profile, and students were given the opportunity to make “dream” applications to firms of their choice, even if they already had an offer in hand.
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) emerged as the top recruiter, making 35 offers, followed by Accenture Strategy with 30 offers. In the investment banking sector, Goldman Sachs led with nine offers, while Tata Administrative Services dominated the general management domain with five offers.
Despite the current volatile geopolitical environment, IIM Ahmedabad’s placement season saw a variety of firms and roles being offered, showcasing the quality of students and the faith recruiters have in the institute. The placement committee, led by Prof. Viswanath Pingali, was commended for their efforts in ensuring a smooth and successful placement process.
