New Delhi, February 1, 2025 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the commencement of registration for the second session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025. The registration window opened on February 1, 2025, and will remain open until February 25, 20252.
Candidates aspiring to secure admission to prestigious engineering and architecture programs can apply online through the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The second session of JEE Main is scheduled to be held from April 1 to April 8, 20252.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for JEE Main 2025 session 2, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Class 12 Examination: Candidates should have secured at least 75% marks in their Class 12 examination or be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards.
- SC/ST Candidates: Must have scored at least 65% in their Class 12 examination.
- Tamil Nadu State Board: The result mode field has been disabled for Tamil Nadu state board candidates.
Application Process
- Visit the Official Website: Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Select Registration Link: Click on the registration link for JEE Main 2025 session 2 on the homepage.
- Fill Out the Form: Complete the registration form and click the Submit button.
- Pay Application Fees: Pay the application fee online.
- Download and Print: Download the registration form and take a printout for future reference.
Exam Structure
JEE Main 2025 will consist of two papers:
- Paper 1: For admission to BE and BTech programs at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and other institutions or universities.
- Paper 2: For admission to BArch and BPlanning courses.
The NTA has assured candidates that the exam city, admit card, and result declaration dates will be shared later.
