Viva 12, VIBGYOR Group of Schools’ inter-school cultural fest wraps up with a spectacular finale

– Over 9,000 students from across India participated in the virtual fest

MUMBAI, India, Dec. 30, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — VIBGYOR Group of Schools virtually hosted the grand finale of the 12th edition of Viva, its annual inter-school cultural festival yesterday. Broadcast online and on VIBGYOR’s social media channels, the gala featured stunning performances by Poorbi Mukherjee, Angel Yadav, Aftab Desai, Nora Varma, Swara Athavale, Jerusha Thomas, Shrinika Purohit, Harshada Bandal, Soumya Srivastava, Arvind Iyenger, Tanmay Shintre, Swonshuta Dash, Anushka Pawar, Ravi Dhage, Preeti Mallapurkar and Prakhyati Srivastava.

Over 9,000 students from schools across the country participated in the month-long extravaganza. The esteemed panel of judges included actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, music composer and producer Pranay Pradhan, choreographer Anjali Kukreja, and actress Rameshwari Vaishapayan.

Congratulating the finalists and winners, actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, one of the judges of competitions said, “I have witnessed Viva grow exponentially over the years. It is successfully providing students from across India, a platform to connect, compete and grow. It’s an honour to be on the panel of judges for the grand finale of this high-energy mega competition.”

Participants from Vadodara, Surat, Kolhapur, Lucknow, Gurugram, Coimbatore, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune competed in qualifying and knockout rounds. The finalists in each of the below three categories participated in the grand finale:

  • Voice of Viva- Indian and western singing competition
  • Swing N Swirl Solo competition
  • Viva Nova- Boys and girls personality competition
